There is nothing sweeter than watching your baby fall asleep in your arms. I knew I’m going to love Leila, but I really wasn’t prepared to lose my mind completely. I’ve probably already taken more pictures and videos of Leila than I have space on my computer.

I love everything about her. Her cheeks, her lips, her little fingers and every wrinkle… I love that she rarely cries. When she is hungry she just starts smacking her lips and wiggling her little arms. If she is uncomfortable she releases this funny grunt and makes a very dramatic face. The only time that I hear her cry is at the doctor’s office. And it just breaks my heart and I wish I could explain to her that it will only be a minute before she is back in our arms. Between the two of us she is rarely laying by herself – we just can’t seem to put her down. We don’t want to. Which will probably come to bite us later… but she is growing way too fast and I don’t want to miss a second of her babyhood.

Oh, the wrinkles make her look so intelligent
. And the fact that she does not cry, just blows my mind away – this must be a miracle for you! The baby who does not cry must be super rare. Brashke.
I’m just not sure how long this will last… by the time she gets colic and starts teething… I will be writing about ear plugs
I agree with the theory that you can’t spoil a child until he/she is one year old. Leila’s one of the basic needs now is to be in your arms…She’s gorgeous!!!
